Nicola Hogan- Counsellor/Psychotherapist BSc (Hons)
Welcome to ripple counselling
Life can sometimes get difficult. We can feel lost, confused, down, angry or frustrated and we wonder where is this all coming from. Whats wrong with me? Taking the first step is always the hardest to get answers as we can be afraid of what we may find. Sitting with someone who is objective, really listens, is non- judgmental and walks with you side by side through this sometimes tough and enlightening journey can help. If you feel you might benefit from counselling please call or e-mail.

About me-
I have studied counselling and psychotherapy for five years. I am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy working towards fully accredited membership. I have one and half years experience working with clients (18+) with issues such as depression, anxiety, O.C.D, bereavement, sexual abuse, relationship breakdown, bullying and lots more.
How I work-
I work as a humanistic therapist and integrate other theories in my work such as cognitive behavioural therapy, reality, gestalt, art therapies and some dream-work. The environment I create in my therapy session is relaxed, open, reflective, honest, non-judgmental and compassionate. If you choose to come, it is YOUR session and we will journey together where you want or need to go.
Cost-
Standard session: €40
Unemployed/Student €25-€30
Please note-
Sessions last for 50 mins. Normally 24 hours notice is required for a cancellation, the full fee applies if not given, sometimes life takes control and in that event concessions will be made. It is recommended to come to therapy on a regular basis as to not disrupt the flow of work. Confidentiality is very important, in some cases I am legally and ethically obliged to report if a client threatens to harm themselves, minors or others or if said client knows of somebody else harming same. I also discuss clients with a supervisor but I do not identify my clients. Your privacy is of the utmost importance.
